When are we getting married?

I am here watching "Bridezillas" a show about women who are total "Bitches" while they prepare for their wedding day. As i sit on my couch watching these ungrateful, spoiled women disrespect their bridesmaids, fiances, mothers and mother in laws to be, I cringe and say "Will i be like that when I get married?" and then it hits me.......I've been with my fiance for damn near 16 years and we aren't married yet!!!!

I turn to him and I ask him a question that I have asked him many times before " When are we getting married?" and he gives me the same old tired responses,"We need to move into a bigger apt." "When are we gonna buy a house?" I have seen other women who have been with their men for a short period of time get married, and I am left wondering when will I get my day? Why am I still waiting for my day?

I am 31 years old with a 1 year old daughter,and I have spent 16 years proving myself to one guy who should be more than ready to take the next step. So i ask myself, am I happy getting the responses that he is giving me? or am I gonna stand up for what I believe in? I don't wanna keep putting this off then look up one day and be 40 years old and i am still NOT MARRIED!!!!
So i have decided that I am gonna give this until the end of the year,and If we haven't reached a date by December 31st......I will no longer continue to be apart of this relationship. 3 months and counting!!!!!!!

Lauren London and Lil Wayne have a boy!!!

Lauren London and Lil weezy has had a boy!! This is Ms London's first child and Weezy's 3rd child, and he is expecting a 4th one from Nivea any day now. It is becoming very clear to me that Lil Wayne is no advocate for condoms!!! I am happy for Lauren ,but a lil disappointed in my boy Weezy for not putting a ring on any of these women fingers. Yeah, he was married to Antonia Carter who has his older daughter Reginae, but that didn't work out and he just went on this babymaking project and now......what? I would like to know what these women are thinking? I mean Nivea and Lauren got pregnant around the same time!!!!! The word on the street is that he is still with Nivea and that Lauren said that they are officially over but that they are gonna raise their baby together. Well atleast he is taking care of his responsibilities. I will just be happy when I hear that Weezy is using condoms and that he is getting married to one of his baby mamas!!!

P.S : Remember I told yall that it could be another dude's baby, well Ms London says that it is Lil Wayne's baby without a doubt and she wish people would just let them be.

What is wrong with Kanye West?

Okay, by now everyone has seen the Vma's when Kanye west got up on stage and totally interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech!!!!!! He thought that Beyonce should have gotten the best video of the year award, are you kidding me? Don't get me wrong I love Beyonce, but that video did not come off to be "One of the best video's of all time" as Kanye would put it. Even Beyonce looked like "What the hell?" Some people mght even go as far to say that maybe Taylor didn't deserve to win but,one of the other ladies that were nominated besides Beyonce should have won. Beyonce's 'Single ladie's " in my opinion had no kind of creativity to it. It's just 3 women dancing in a black leotard infront of a white back drop!!!! Wow.....that's really oringinal Kanye.

Kanye then gets on television and apologizes to Taylor and says that he wants to apologize to her in person. Hmm.......NOT IMPRESSED KANYE!!!! he is known to be a cocky and rude individual since he's been in the industry. I remember last year when Britney Spears opened the MTV awards, Kanye had something to say about that, he cried and threw a tantrum because he wanted to open the show. He wasn't satisfied that MTV gave him and a group of others their own private rooms to perform in!!! NO KANYE HAD TO OPEN THE SHOW!!

I love Kanye's music but his attitude sucks, then he gets on Jay Leno and Jay asks him What would his mother say about what he did if she was still alive? and Kanye gets all choked up and explains how he never took time to mourn his mother. Well, I think it's about time take a break from the limelight and reflect on his past and future, because if he continues down this path......he might be headed for a Britney Spears breakdown pretty soon. Get it together Kanye.

ASHANT'S NEW DO

Hey has anyone seen Ashanti's new hair do? I looooove it!!!! It seems like the females are changing their hair by the minute. Cassie, Solange, Rihanna and now Ashanti. I ain't mad at them , I feel that women have to change it up every now and again to keep things interesting and fresh.

Singer Nivea about to Pop

Singer Nivea looks like she iust about to go in anyday now. For those of you who don't know who Nivea is, She is the ex wife of Singer/Producer the Dream. Her baby belongs to young Mula baby himself, Lil Wayne!!! Who is about to become a father 3 times, 2 this year!! Apparently Actress Lauren London is having his child as well, word on the street is that she is gonna get a DNA test done because it could be another dude's baby and not Weezy.

Anyway, A stripper from a Los Angeles strip club called Spearmint Rhino has claimed that she is pregnant by Lil Wayne,Come on Weezy!!!! have you ever heard of a condom? Wayne just had a baby 10 months ago with a woman from Cincinnati. The stripper claims that Wayne wants her to keep the baby. It looks like my boy wants to have his own basketball team, I hope someone gives him a box of condoms for Christmas!!

4 year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina

Today marks the 4 year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. On August 29,2005 Hurricane Katrina claimed thousands of lives and destroyed thousands of homes leaving New Orlean's natives homeless and seperated from their families. President Obama says his administration is working to improve government programs that help Katrina victims rebuild and to guard against similar damage from future storms. President Obama plans to visit New Orleans later this year.

Today would have been Michael's 51rst birthday. BET has dedicated the whole weekend to Michael. Happy birthday Michael!!

DJ AM Found dead

DJ AM was found dead in his NYC apartment yesterday evening, he was 36 years old. Reported by TMZ, there was drug paraphernalia found at the scene. In 2008 DJ AM walked away from a plane crash with musician Travis Barker, four people were killed in the crash. TMZ reports that a friend was looking for Dj AM whose name is Adam Goldstein, but he didn't get an answer when he arrived at his home, friends say that he had been missing for a few days. The friend called police and they broke the door down to find Goldstein's body lying on the bed.

Breast Cancer

The other day, one of my very good friends text me a message saying that she loved me even though we don't talk as often as she would like.In this text she proceeds to let me know that she has breast cancer, I began to read the text from the beggining again in disbelief because it was hard to swallow. I have heard about other women who i didn't know having breast cancer, but this was different, this is someone who is dear to my heart and I hurt with her. Ladies, we as women need to take care of our bodies and get our annual checkups and make sure that everything is in the best of health.

Some of us are so busy going on with our lives, that we don't take the time to TAKE CARE OF US!!! Please go to the doctor for a woman well visit and make sure everything is okay,and if it's not, atleast you can detect it early and cure it.

Breast cancer is the leading cancer among women of many Asian and Pacific Islander groups in the U.S. Many women do not know that they have breast cancer until it's advanced.

Neffe is pregnant!!

Remember I was talking about Keyshia cole sister Neffe being pregnant!! Well this picture here confirms it.Neffe is indeed 7 months pregnant by her fiance Solo, congrats to the both of them.I simply love my girl Neffe and mama frankie, "it's a man down situation" as Frankie would say.

Well, it's time to say goodnight, I just put my daughter to sleep and I have to work tomorrow. Just wanted to leave a little food for thought, Our lives are filled with so many things to do, and sometimes we forget to take time out to tell a loved one that we love them and how much we appreciate them. Life is shorter than we think, so we should cherish every single minute and give thanks and glory to God for the many blessings that you have in your life.

Tiny and Toya Season finale

I was front row and center for the season finale of Tiny and Toya because I just had to see how Toya's blind date turned out, and it looked like Toya and Mr James Hardy who plays for the Buffalo Bills hit it off, I am so happy for her. I see so many women compromise their happiness because they are afraid to move on from a relationship gone wrong. It's easier to make excuses to accept what hurts us and breaks us down, then to let go, and we as women need to remind ourselves that we deserve the best and for those of us who are raising little women especially need to set positive examples to follow. Congrats Toya!!

I am watching Frankie and Neffe, and it looks like Miss Neffe is preggers again!! She is glowing like a lava lamp! And the camera is shooting her neck and up!

Usher divorce final!!

Okay, am I the only one who knew that this marriage would not last? I remember Usher being interviewed on hot 97 shortly after he got married by Miss Jones, and his publicist told the crew that they were only to ask Usher about his music and his fragrance and that was all. Come on!!!! We all wanted to know why he married this woman!!! Anyway, rumor has it that the divorce is finalized and Usher is celebrating in Paris, Congrats Usher!!

Michael Jackson

When I think about Michael Jackson,I think about my childhood.Michael Jackson was in my household, he grew with us, he was family. To hear that he had passed left me deeply saddened and empty, to know that he passed not of old age, or some uncureable illness, he died trying to erase many, many, years of pain. Since Michael's passing the world has clearly demonstrated what an influence he was, and we ALL mourn. We mourn not only for Michael but for music!!!

There will never be another Michael Jackson, and he will always remain in our hearts!!
